Kat Schleicher is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Milwaukee and working throughout Chicago and the greater Midwest. She creates authentic, story-driven images for brands, publications, and nonprofits. Her work blends clean visuals with a natural, human approach.

Kat holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has over 20 years of experience photographing people and places across the U.S. and abroad. She also teaches photography and leads a youth media club in her community.

Alongside her client work, she creates personal documentary projects that explore themes of family, community, and place, using both film and digital formats.

Her clients include AARP, Harley-Davidson, Mayo Clinic, Scholastic, Penguin Random House, Northwestern Mutual, Hilton Hotels, The Guardian, and Quarto Publishing. Her work has been selected for American Photography (36, 37, 38, and 41) and recognized by Photo District News (Top Knots, 2012).
